SPC (Stone Plastic Composite) and WPC (Wood Plastic Composite) are two types of rigid core luxury vinyl on the market and they both are latest trends in home design. Thanks to the new technology, people have more options to select their flooring based on their needs.


The Similarity of WPC & SPC:

  • Wear layer: This layer is usually thin and transparent which can provide resistance to scratches and stains.

  • Vinyl layer: This layer is comparably durable, strong, long-lasting. It is printed with imitate wood and stone pattern and color.

  • Core layer: This is the only difference from WPC and SPC. This layer is the waterproof layer from either wood plastic composite (WPC) or stone plastic composite (SPC).

  • Base layer: This layer is basically compose of EVA foam or cork.
