Cabinets should not only serve as a space to hold stuff. Cabinets are now designed to have more and more functions according to human mechanics. So when participating in the cabinet design process, we should know beforehand what kind of cabinets with specific functions we want.
1. Trash Can Cabinets
This is a pretty self-explanatory one. A lot of people forget about this trash can cabinets when designing their space. Using a cabinets to hide their trash cans can significantly improve life quality in that they can shut out odor and unpleasant sight.
2. Larger Sink Base Cabinets
We would always recommend customers to use at least 36 inches sink base cabinets just so they can put a 33 inches sink inside. Nobody will complain their sink being too big. But if you choose a small sink, and you have already install your sink base cabinets, and have your counter top cut, just think about how difficult it is to change it again. Also think twice when you want to choose a less expensive sink.
3. Pull Out Cabinets Next to the Stove
It is always a good idea to use a 9'' or a 12'' spice rack to a pull out cabinet next to the stove for all of your bottles and spices. One main factor that affect the appearance of your kitchen is the stuff on the counter top. Minimalism is trending nowadays. Keep as few things on the counter top as possible will boost the look of your kitchen for sure.
4. Add Roll Outs to your Cabinets
You do not have to always to reach to something all the way back in the corner. They should come to you. Cabinets can look classic on the outside, but they can make your life a little bit easier on the inside. KZ Kitchen Cabinet & Stone designed two types of roll out: wooden and stainless steel. Besides, our European Cabinets also offer plywood roll out with stainless steel glides, giving you a modern look.
5. Use a Lazy Susan for Diagonal Cabinets
Laziness is the motivation to development. I can not agree more. Thanks to Susan, we now can make full use of our diagonal cabinets with ease.
