We are looking for a Facilities Manager to join our Administrative team at KZ Kitchen. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication and multitasking skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with an interest in a long-term role and an opportunity for growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversees buildings and grounds maintenance.
Operates and maintains custodial functions.
Ensures security and emergency preparedness procedures are implemented properly.
Manages and reviews service contracts.
Conducts and documents regular facilities and equipment inspections.
Checks completed work by vendors and contractors.
Recommends maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications.
Communicates workplace safety precautions to employees.
Experience and Qualifications:
Knowledge of OSHA and other environmental regulations
Knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to facilities management
Strong verbal and written communication skills to work with vendors and employees
Must be a well organized, detail and customer (internal and external) oriented self-starter
Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment
2-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent related functions
High School degree or equivalent professional level of experience
Bilingual (English/Chinese) preferred
Paid time off
5 days/week (Monday-Saturday)
