How to Measure
In order for us to do an in-store estimate for granite and cabinets, we need you or your contractor to measure your kitchen or bathroom. Here we are going to explain how to do this simple task. All you need is a tape measure, a pen and a piece of paper.

  1) Measure your workable space. Even if your kitchen is smaller or bigger than you want, you can just measure your wall lengths instead of the cabinets themselves. Use these measurements to draw out a birds eye view of your kitchen or bathroom.
  2) Find out how big your refrigerator (height and width) is or how big you want it to be and where it is on your wall. Then do this for your stove & hood as well. Please indicate on your drawing where your fridge and stove is from the adjacent wall.
  3) Find where the center of your water/gas lines & hood vent are so that we can do our best to place your stove & sink in the correct spot in such a case that we have to move them slightly for optimal use.
  4) Find where your window/door and other such obstacles are placed including the width, height from counter and length from an adjacent wall. If you have a garden window and wish to have granite installed in it please indicate it's measurements in detail.
  5) Next you must measure the height of your kitchen to find out how tall your wall cabinets should be. And if you have an irregular sofit, measure it's placement as well.
  6) If you have an island or peninsula then you need to measure how far out the edge can be. Keep in mind walk ways and doors when you do this. If you have a pony wall, measure it's dimensions as well.
  7) Make sure all your hand writing is clear on your drawing and place your name, site address, contractor's name, phone number & fax/email on the page for faster estimation
We also can come out for a local professional measurement, for just a small $30 deposit that goes towards your installation installation total. What's nice about this is that the person measuring for you would often be the same person installing for you. Call one of our showrooms to speak to a representative who can set this up for you with the help of one of our installers.
